About Project

To strengthen the capacity of academia and Community Forest User Groups (CFUGs) on climate change adaptation and REDD+ through a series of Training of Trainers (ToT) programs conducted in different phases from 2012 to 2015. The project aimed to enhance knowledge, promote community-based climate actions, and build a pool of trained facilitators capable of delivering climate and REDD+ related trainings at the local and institutional levels.

  • To develop comprehensive ToT session plans on climate change adaptation and REDD+.

  • To select participants and coordinate training programs across universities and CFUGs.

  • To conduct training workshops and deliver ToT sessions.

  • To facilitate participatory learning processes and knowledge sharing.

  • To prepare detailed training reports and workshop proceedings.

Implemented in collaboration with WWF Nepal, covering various universities and CFUGs in Chitwan, Nawalparasi, and Pokhara from March 2012 to December 2015 (32 months).
