About the Project
The main purpose of the project was to assess the participation and contribution of youth in Community-Based Forest Management (CBFM) in the Terai region of Nepal. The study focused on understanding how youth are involved in forest governance, conservation activities, and decision-making processes within community forest user groups.
Key Activities:

Study the level of youth involvement in community-based forest management

Develop the study framework and tools

Conduct field visits in Bara, Mahottari and Kapilvastu to collect data

Analyze the collected data as per the study requirements

Prepare the final report highlighting the status of youth participation in CBFM
