About Project
To assess the status of human–wildlife conflict and examine the changes in forest carbon stock within the Terai Arc Landscape (TAL) and Chitwan Annapurna Landscape (CHAL) of Nepal. The project aims to generate evidence-based insights for conservation planning, ecosystem management, and conflict mitigation.

To conduct field studies and collect data from identified sites within TAL and CHAL.

To carry out a comprehensive literature review related to human–wildlife conflict and forest carbon dynamics.

To analyze the collected data and prepare a detailed research report.
Implemented under the Hariyo Ban Program / WWF Nepal, the project covered the Terai Arc Landscape and Chitwan Annapurna Landscape from September 2015 to February 2016 (6 months).
