About Project

To assess and refine indicators for monitoring vulnerability at the household, community, and corridor/river-basin levels, and to determine the extent of vulnerability reduction achieved through the climate change adaptation interventions of the Hariyo Ban Program. The project aimed to strengthen the monitoring framework and provide actionable insights for improving future adaptation initiatives.

  • To identify community-friendly indicators for vulnerability monitoring at household, community, and corridor/river-basin levels.

  • To assess the status of vulnerability reduction in Hariyo Ban Program areas, particularly in CAPA-supported communities.

  • To determine the percentage of vulnerability reduction contributed by Hariyo Ban interventions.

  • To recommend priority areas for improvement to further enhance the effectiveness of climate change adaptation interventions.

Implemented under CARE Nepal / Hariyo Ban Program from October 2016 to December 2016 (3 months).
